A motor vehicle service is a series of maintenance procedures, carried out at a set time interval, or after the vehicle has travelled a certain distance. The service intervals are specified by the vehicle manufacturer in a service schedule and some modern cars display the due date for the next service electronically on the instrument panel.
We can service all makes and models of cars, bikes, vans, motorhomes, etc to manufacturers' service schedules. Contrary to popular belief, this will not invalidate your manufacturer's warranty.
Maintenance tasks commonly carried out during a motor vehicle service include:
- Replacement of engine oil and filter
- Replacement of air filter
- Replacement of fuel filter
- Replacement of spark plugs (if necessary)
- Engine tuning (if applicable)
- Inspection and top up on:
- Brake Fluid
- Anti-freeze
- Gear-box oil
- Power steering fluid
- Screen wash
Lubrication and greasing of components
- Inspection of timing belt (replacement at additional cost)
- Checking, cleaning and adjustment of brakes
- Full under-body/chassis check
- Visual inspection of condition of tyres (including pressure check)
- Emissions check
Servicing, repair and recharge of air conditioning can be sourced externally, by arrangement.
Rest assured that the parts used on your vehicle are always of a high quality or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and all labour work carries a 12 month warranty as standard, with parts warranty typically 12 months, unless otherwise stated.
